Mickey Rooney, Elizabeth Taylor and Anne Revere; directed by Clarence Brown; MGM; Miss Revere won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress; Oscar winner for film editing and nominated for director and cinematography; story about children who train a horse to win the Grand National; scenes filmed at the polo field in Pebble Beach; Toni Brucia was a stand-in for Elizabeth Taylor.
