Director of Development and Operations

The Monterey County Film Commission has a job opening for a full-time Director of Development and Operations.

The Director of Development and Operations will work with the Monterey County Film Commission Board of Directors in the planning of fund development activities, directing the Development committee, obtaining donations and grants, and coordinating fundraising plans.

The employee will oversee all fundraising including major donor solicitations, direct mailings, foundation grants and special events.

Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the non-profit Monterey County Film Commission including office staff, volunteers, events, website and community affairs.

Qualifications: Minimum of two years of marketing and fundraising experience, proven administrative and management skills, excellent writing and public speaking skills, strong leadership and team skills, ability to work well with board of directors. Computer skills should include database management, QuickBooks, Excel, MS Word. Salary: Depends on experience. Deadline: Open until filled.
